TONIGHT: I FELT INFAMOUS AND THE SINNER LADY

The new Franz Ferdnand album Tonight: is in heavy rotation.  It has a more disco-oriented sound  unlike the new wave garage sound of their previous albums.  At times I feel like I am listening to Blondie.  Mobb Deep's album Infamous reiterates why New York rap blows every other rap region out of my rotation. Charles Mingus's direction on The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady proves that everything can work together (e.g. spanish guitar strategically throughout) as long as it makes sense as a whole.
