I watched a great documentary on Miles Davis called Miles Electric - A Different Kind of Blue. I thought the documentary was very good over all. When I watched the edited interviews I felt somewhat sad. The interview with Easy Mo Bee was very touching and was cut from the final film. The album Doo-Bop is often overlooked in Miles Davis's catalog and Easy Mo Bee worked with Miles in producing the album. I really enjoy Doo-Bop and I believe it captures a very beautiful point in Miles's career. Unfortunately, it was his last album. Miles Davis's album Aura also does not get the respect that I feel it deserves. A true concept album that illustrates the colors of Miles Davis's music.
