Ron Asheton, one of the founding members of The Stooges, passed away yesterday. His guitar riffs went on to inspire an entire genre. Guys across America began to believe they could play guitar. The Stooges are eligible for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year. Let's hope Mr. Asheton and company get the nod they so truly deserve.
